Ruddy Roye

Great day yesterday being led on a photo walk with this dope photographer. Shout out to Leica for letting me load my film into a beautiful Leica MP and shoot with it for the walk. I know whats on my Christmas list...

Old Words

I used to write stuff before, much of which was trash. But I did rediscover this old one:

No respect for the bricklayers
We jacked with hammers.
Unfounding foundations for strength sensations.
Striving to be players in the wrong game / Look at the board and watch where you aim that thing.
Our greatest weapon.
Filled with hollowed points, full of pointless hollow.
Not even Paul would be revered and for the Creator of all there is no fear.
Death causes few tears, cause there will be like 20 more before the new year.
He who has an ear let him hear.
Wisdom outside knocking with bloody knuckles, while these children are experts in belt buckles.

I wonder if Satan chuckles.

Millions March. 12.13.14

A lost roll from the December 12, 2014 Millions March. Thousands took to the streets demanding justice for the innocent people of color killed by misuse of police force.

The fight continues.

Do Over 2015

Sometimes you get a great reminder of how dope a day in Brooklyn can be. The Do-Over last weekend was just that. I recall the earlier Do-Over party at the now defunct Dekalb Market a few years past, which was a great environment of great jams, food, and drinks.

This year brought back that vibe with Rich Medina setting the tone on the music, and keeping me there longer than I planned because he played "More Bounce To The Ounce". Here are some shots from the day.
